Hello, I'm Nicky!
In order for me to create an 'out of this world' ceremony, I want to get to know you! So it's only fair that you get to know me.
I am an entrepreneur and a creator; I like to think of myself as a 'Frog-kisser' creating, renewing and putting the heart into people and places. Driven to create purpose and magic in people's lives. I flourish in people-focused environments and thrive on doing things differently.
Wife, mum to 4 children and 2 four-legged friends, a mamgi - that means grandmother in Welsh - a proficient multitasker & juggler and a crazy, loyal friend to many! My family is my faith, the centrepiece to my working life and my biggest cheerleaders. I love to work! I love to play! And I am driven by the mantra 'Love what you do'. Work hard, have fun and be nice.
I have had a rewarding, diverse and hugely successful career to date: 21 years as a high flyer for an iconic British Airline... Yes! I was a trolly-dolly! Lots of stories to tell... or not maybe. A successful delicatessen/coffee shop owner with my husband Neil launched us into the Gloucestershire local food community and fuelled my obsession into delivering top-notch customer experience, connecting with people from all walks of life in our community and making friends for life.
Putting people & the community at heart of everything I do is integral to my daily life and has never been truer than the last 2 years. In my my recent role as a local food sourcing expert, I witnessed the catastrophic impact of the pandemic on families and business communities I worked with. Working cooperatively to ensure these communities survived and thrived was exhausting but hugely privileging, did I mention how resilient I am!! I have worked for 365/24/7 businesses for all of my life - fortunately I don't need much sleep.
